Roberto Rossi Dental Lab provided the lab work for the amazing smile makeover video.
Allison’ s eating disorder (Bulimia) led to her severely worn (eroded) dentition. Her smile makeover involved a gum lift (aesthetic crown lengthening) performed by Edward Gottesman, DDS (perionyc.com), a Periodontist in New York, NY, and a dental reconstruction (rehabilitation) utilizing the Dahl effect to open her bite by Kenneth Kurtz, DDS (gluckandkurtz.com), a Prosthodontist in New Hyde Park, LI. Allison wanted everyone with an eating disorder to see her smile makeover so that others suffering with similar disorders would be inspired to change their lifestyle and reach out for help. Having this smile makeover was the final seal that helped end her lifelong battle with Bulimia.
Special thanks to Roberto Rossi, CDT, for his superb laboratory work. (robertorossidentallab.com)
Also special thanks to Ted Corriero (docreels.com) and Mike Ennis (wolfanglefilms.com) for their hard work in documenting and producing this video testimonial.
