Roberto Rossi Dental Lab provided the lab work for the amazing smile makeover video.

Allison’ s eating disorder (Bulimia) led to her severely worn (eroded) dentition. Her smile makeover involved a gum lift (aesthetic crown lengthening) performed by Edward Gottesman, DDS (perionyc.com), a Periodontist in New York, NY, and a dental reconstruction (rehabilitation) utilizing the Dahl effect to open her bite by Kenneth Kurtz, DDS (gluckandkurtz.com), a Prosthodontist in New Hyde Park, LI. Allison wanted everyone with an eating disorder to see her smile makeover so that others suffering with similar disorders would be inspired to change their lifestyle and reach out for help. Having this smile makeover was the final seal that helped end her lifelong battle with Bulimia.

In this segment of the show, Roberto takes part in the complete smile makeover offered to an individual who spent years being unhappy with her teeth. This work was performed by Roberto Rossi Dental Lab’s team in conjunction with Dr. Gerry Curatola, founder of Rejuvenation Dentistry. Roberto’s team had only 2 days to rebuild a full maxilla and mandible reconstruction smile makeover. The process involved a combination of feldspathic porcelain veneers, e.max, Procera bridges, and a mandibular distal flexite.
